Marywood's Center for Architectural Studies occupies an existing campus facility that was retrofitted using sustainable building practices. The building, which is LEED Gold Certified, is a spacious adaptation of Marywood's former gymnasium. The green vegetated roof system was designed to capture rain water for plumbing systems in the building.
